Introduction to the UU Justice Web

This web site has two goals.

1.  Educate on the critical issues of our day.
2.  Build a strong community of people who want to put their faith into action.

Studies tell us that people can and do learn an enormous amount of information simply by surfing the web.  Therefore, this site seeks to provide top quality resources that can ground our Principles in fact.  To make this most effective, everyone is invited to suggest and forward whatever issue-based resources you think should be posted here, thereby making all of us curators.

Of equal or greater importance, we need to connect with each other.  Each subject heading has a page called "Your Voice".  Guest bloggers will post their thoughts and ideas or there will be a You Tube video and everyone to be used as a jumping off place for conversation.  You can get posts through your rss feed and you can post pages to Facebook or Twitter.

If you've got enough to say that you'd like to blog on a particular issue, send your idea through the Contact Us page.  Guest bloggers are welcome and encouraged!

This page is managed by Rev. Peggy Clarke, Racism and Social Justice Consultant for the Metro NY and Saint Lawrence Districts.  Rev. Clarke is also the called minister at First Unitarian Society of Westchester in Hastings on Hudson, co-President at InterGenerate and Vice Chair of PACE (President's Advisory Committee for Ethical Eating).  She can be reached at pclarke@uuma.org.
